Rivers United enters into strategic partnership with Fox-Lion
The Rivers State Government through the Sports Ministry has entered into a strategic partnership with a foreign scouting agency Fox-Lion of Belgium,National Daily gathered.
The partnership was signed when the management of Fox-Lion of Belgium paid the State Commissioner for Sports Hon. Boma Iyaye a visit in his office.
The delegation was led by Messrs De-Brunye Bart and James Stomne. These agents were in the State to scout for new talents in football.
Hon. Boma Iyaye told the delegation that “Rivers United Football Club is the pride and flagship of the State Government and as such, the Government is willing to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the management of Fox-Lion of Belgium to help improve quality of players discovery and development of new talents in the state as a whole”.
