Roads deserted as gunshots rock ICC Abuja
Many passerby and workers on Friday afternoon took to their heels following gunshots fired around the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
ICC is one of the prominent event centres located at the heart of Abuja.
At the venue is an ongoing election by National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) where sources said that the gunshots emanated from.
National Daily reported that the various roads leading to the International conference centre are now deserted due to the development.
As at the time of filling this story, no official explanation has been offered as to what led to the pandemonium.
