Salah fires Liverpool to 2-1 victory over Tottenham
Mohamed Salah on Sunday fired Liverpool to 2-1 victory over Tottenham in their weekend game with the London team.
Before the match, Liverpool were 10 points behind Tottenham Spurs who were fourth on the EPL table.
Salah scored the opening goal in the 11th minute to give Liverpool the lead in the first half of the game.

Salah scored a second to double the lead for Liverpool in the 40th minute, taking advantage of a defensive error by Eric Dier, who in attempting to head the ball to the goalkeeper, dropped the ball in the space for Salah to finish up with a fine strike past Tottenham’s keeper.
Tottenham came back strong into the game in the second half. Harry Kane scored in the 70th minute to raise hope of at least drawing the match but Liverpool held on strongly to defend the 2-1 lead.
