Sanwo-Olu gets green light for 2nd term

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has gt a nod for his second term. He will soon declare his bid for another term.

Sources within the Governors Advisory Council (GAC), the council of political kingmakers in Lagos, revealed the APC national leader and Sanwo-Olu’s godfather gave the green light.

There have been speculations Tinubu and the GAC won’t allow a governor spend two term again, following the signal the abrupt end of Sanwo-Olu’s predecessor Akinwunmi Ambode.

Ambode was booted during the primary, and Tinubu insisted it was Lagos that rejected the former governor.
