Sanwo-Olu submits proposal for rebuilding post #EndSARS Lagos to Buhari

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Thursday submitted a proposal for rebuilding Lagos after the #EndSARS protest to President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja. The Lagos State governor solicited the collaboration of the Federal Government in rebuilding Lagos State in the aftermath of the #EndSARS protests which caused huge destruction of property by hoodlums who hijacked the peaceful protest.

The governor identified economic opportunities for rebuilding Lagos State. Governor Sanwo-Olu had in a media interaction after the consultation with President Buhari, emphasized that the goal of ensuring Lagos becomes the nation’s investment hub can only be done through economic collaborations between the state and the federal government. the governor highlighted how Lagos State government intends to tackle the second wave of COVID-19, as well as the government’s initiatives on security.
