Saraki congratulates Awujale of Ijebu Land, Oba Adetona, @ 90

Former president of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has congratulated the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, HRH Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, on his 90th birthday.

“As he joins the exclusive league of nonagenarians and marks an impactful 64 years on the throne, my family and I join the good people of Ogun State and the entire nation in celebrating the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, HRH Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

“One of the nation’s longest-reigning kings, Oba Adetona’s leadership has been a masterful blend of sagacity, grace and dignity. His stewardship has not only enhanced cohesion among the diverse religious and cultural groups in Ijebuland but has also established him as a pillar and a custodian of Yoruba heritage.

“As he celebrates another year of wisdom and benevolence, I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) will continue to bless his reign and his kingdom — and grant him many more years of good health and happiness.
