Sen Dino Melaye exposes secret of Gov Bello’s election
Senator Dino Melaye who is still contending with his election in Kogi West against Smart Adeyemi of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Tuesday exposed the secret of the election of Governor Yahaya Bello in the November 16 governorship election in Kogi State.
Senator Melaye decried that besides the helicopter war, there were purported allocation of votes to APC and Governor Yahaya Bello in the election in Kogi State.
Melaye cited the record that in Okene Local Government, total number of registered voters is 118,553; number of PVCs collected is48,066, while number of votes won by APC is 112,764; culminating into excess votes of 64,543,
It was noted that this is not a case of over voting but deliberate allocation of votes out of proportion.
It was added that similar manipulation occurred in several other places.
