Senate passes 2024-2026 MTEF-FSP, N26trn budget proposal for 2024
The Senate of the Nigerian National Assembly on Wednesday passed the 2024-2026 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF).
Projections approved by the Senate for 2024 include:-
* 1.78 million barrels daily crude production,
at 73.6 dollars per barrel.

* Exchange rate approved is 700 naira to the dollar
* GDP growth rate is 3.76 percent.
* N26 trillion budget projection for 2024, with N16.9 trillion as projected revenue.
* N9 trillion deficit.
