Shekarau generates momentum for Atiku’s victory in Kano
A former Governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau, who defected from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has put his political machine to work to mobilise massive support for the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the 2023 general elections. Shekarau has sustained the PDP campaign in the absence of Atiku, working with party leaders in the state to ensure victory for Atiku.

Shekarau has been pulling mass crowd to generate momentum for Atiku’s presidential campaign, including other PDP candidates.
A stakeholder in the state, out of enthusiasm declared: “Kano is PDP.
“Sen. Mallam Dr. Ibrahim Shekarau will shock those who underrates him come 2023.”
Meanwhile, Kano is currently controlled by the All Progressives Congress (APC). It is also the home of Engr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, NNPP presidential candidate.
