Singer Shallipopi fires back at Spyro over lyrics criticism
Popular Nigerian singer Shallipopi has fired back at his colleague, Spyro, over his criticism of Shallipopi’s lyrics.
Spyro had criticized Shallipopi’s lyrics, saying that they were inappropriate and promoting fraud.
Shallipopi has now responded to Spyro’s criticism, saying that he is being hypocritical.
“Spyro is no saint,” Shallipopi said. “He’s released songs with lyrics that are just as offensive as mine.”

Shallipopi also said that he is not promoting fraud, but simply reflecting the reality of life in Nigeria.
“The lyrics of my songs are not meant to be taken literally,” Shallipopi said. “They are simply a way of expressing the challenges that people face in Nigeria.”
The feud between Shallipopi and Spyro is the latest in a series of controversies in the Nigerian music industry.
