Song by Nigerian, Vincent Atueyi used to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee
A song composed by Nigerian Catholic Reverend Father, Vincent Atueyi Chinemelu, ‘A Life Lived With Grace’, has become the song being used to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
Chinemelu had in January won the Song for the Commonwealth competition, alongside lyricist, Lucy Kiely from Australia.
The winning song is being sung across the globe as beacons are being lit in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Chinemelu hails from Anambra State. He is a multi-instrumentalist, who plays the piano, flute, cello, trumpet, alto sax and guitar.
