Special duties minister calls for inter-agency collaboration for impactful service delivery
The Minister of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, Rt. Hon. Zaphaniah Jisalo, has called for inter-agency collaboration as the quickest way to positively impact the lives of Nigerians, leveraging on the present administration’s 8-point agenda. This was contained in a statement signed by Anastasia O. Ogbonna (Mrs), Head, Press.
Jisalo made the call yesterday in Abuja during a briefing session with top management that comprised Chief Executive Officers of Parastatals under the purview of the Ministry.
While commending the management for a germane strategic plan that cuts across virtually all Ministries, the Minister called for team work because according to him: “together we achieve more”.
Speaking earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, Ibiene Robert’s assured the Minister of the needed support to succeed, adding that funding has always been a great challenge.
The highpoint of the meeting was the presentation to the Minister by the Executive Secretary, National Lottery Trust Fund, Dr. Bello Maigari, the best performance award given to the agency by Bureau of Public Service Reforms.
