Strings Unplugged was created for lovers of good music – Anyaduba
Strings Unplugged-Acoustic Night, founded by Executive Director TOG Media, Chukwuebuka Anyaduba. Organized with the duo of Mercy Isoyip and Blessing Saxone, the idea of the event is to create a lifestyle event for lovers of good music such as live performances, acoustic sounds and opera.
The maiden edition was held on the 13th of May 2018 in partnership with Hardrock Cafe Lagos. The event headlined by Soul Singer Ric Hassani had in attendance celebrities such as the award winning pop artiste M.I Abaga, Ilblis, VJ Adams, Chris Okagbue, Bryan Okwara, Ifan Michaels, Bred, Adewale Adeleke (Chairman HKN Music), to mention but a few.
Other performances includes Maka, Opera Singer, Sandra Osamor, Davidskima, Ctizz, Nigerian Nicki Minaj Descushiel, to mention but a few. Another high point of the event was the stellar performance from the Sisi Crooner, Sexy Steel. The event was hosted by atlanta based event host Mama J and Jennifer Brown.
Strings Unplugged shall be a quarterly event and promises to be back sometime in September 2018. Speaking with the convener, Anyaduba, he had this to say, “Strings Unplugged is not the everyday, regular show out there. My team worked hard to ensure a quality show is crafted purposefully for the lovers of good music”.
