Supreme Court upholds Gov Uba Sani’s election in Kaduna
The Supreme Court of Nigeria on Friday upheld the election of Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State. The court, accordingly, dismissed the appeal by Isah Ashiru, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election.
The Supreme Court in a unanimous judgement, upheld the judgments of the Kaduna State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, and that of the Court of Appeal, which upheld the victory of Governor Uba in the March 2023 governorship election.
