Tinubu doles out N250,000 to TradeMore Estate flood victims
The wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has distributed N250,000 to victims of the June 23, 2023, flood mishap that occurred at the TradeMore Estate, Lugbe, Abuja.
The donations came through her pet project, the Renewed Hope Initiative.
The first lady made the donations through her representative, the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, who expressed her sympathy for the victims of the unfortunate incident.
According to the first lady, though no assurance exists that this kind of incident will not reoccur, especially when the rains are not yet over, she is optimistic that the outreach and intervention of the Renewed Hope Initiative will go a long way in reducing their pain at this time.
