Tinubu hosts NBA President-elect Badejo-Okusanya at State House [VIDEO]
President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday welcomed the President-elect of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, to the State House in Abuja during a courtesy visit ahead of her inauguration.
Badejo-Okusanya, who recently emerged as the 33rd president of the NBA after polling 9,891 votes in the association’s election, was accompanied by a delegation of women lawyers and other members of the legal body.
Her election marks a significant milestone in the history of the Nigerian Bar Association, as she becomes only the second woman to lead the organization. The first was Chief Priscilla Kuye, who served as NBA president from 1991 to 1992.
The visit underscored the association’s engagement with the Presidency as Badejo-Okusanya prepares to formally assume office.
