Tinubu wins in Ogun
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has won the presidential election in Ogun State.
The result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ogun State, showed that the APC candidate emerged victorious with 341,554 votes, as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar had 123,831 votes.
Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) had 85,829 votes, while Dumebi Kachikwu of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) got 10,529 votes, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) 2,200 votes.
The number of registered voters in Ogun State is 2,687,606, total accredited voters were 612,341.
The total number of votes cast was 611,448, comprising 580,124 valid votes and 31,324 rejected votes.
