A front line activist in Nigeria, Comrade Aisha Yesufu, on Thursday, asserted that Trade unions are powerful except where they undermine themselves, declaring that the NLC has what it takes to fight for its right.
Aisha Yesufu made the assertion as she berated President Bola Tinubu, who was alleged to have sent soldiers, DSS and police to go after members of the Organised Labour protesting at the Abuja airport on Thursday.

Aisha Yesufu noted that President Tinubu “blamed unarmed protesters who were killed by the soldiers former President Buhari sent…”
She lamented that, now President Tinubu is in office, “it is not surprising that he is doing same.”
