Traffic robbers unmasked in Lagos
Detectives have arrested a traffic robbery gang operating aroind the Abiola Garden and Ketu/Ojota Road.
Lagos police command’s Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin announced the arrest of the two-man gang in a statement on Monday.
The spokesman said the suspects are Kareem Ahmed and Afo Emma age 26 and 24 respectively.
Item found in their possession include stolen android phones, a jack knife, a cutlass, a mask and weed suspected to be Indian hemp.
The duo are assisting the police in an ongoing investigation aimed at arresting other criminal elements in the axis.
Hundeyin said the arrest followed repeated complaints from motorists on the activities of criminals.
