Troops neutralize terrorists in Kaduna during ambush
Three of the terrorists menacing the Telele-Sabon Gida area in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna have been neutralized in ambush the federal troop laid January 15.
Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs Samuel Aruwan confirmed this in a statement on Saturday
“As expected, the outlaws approached the troops’ position, and entered the killing range, after which they were vigorously engaged,” Aruwan stated.
Three terrorists were neutralized in the exchange, and the federal troops recovered three AK47 rifles, three AK47 magazines, two motorcycles, two mobile phones.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai commended the troops for their swift and decisive action in engaging the terrorists.
El Rufai has been campaigning for a full-on attack, including carpet-bombing, on the terrorists wreaking havoc lately in the northwest.
