Two persons reportedly killed as NURTW factions clash in Abuja
There was pandemonium at the National Secretariat of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Abuja on Tuesday when two factions of the union clashed over the leadership crisis rocking the union.
It is reported that the two rival factions of the union clashed fiercely amid a simmering leadership crisis that has lasted for over a year since Lagos kingpin & state chairman of the NURTW, Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo, rebelled against the national leadership of the union. It is reported that at least 2 persons died as a result of the clash.

National Daily report that one Tajudeen Badru Agbede mobilised thugs from Lagos state to the secretariat of the union located at Garki 2 and attacked the national officers including the current president, Tajudeen Baruwa.
The attack seems to be part of plans by Mr. Akinsanya, popularly called MC Oluomo, who has recently rejoined the NURTW, abandoning the Lagos State Parks and Garages Committe.
