U-15 gets opponents at the AYG

The Nigeria national U-15 football team will play against Morocco, Libya and Djibouti when the hostilities of the African Youth Championship begin in Algiers.
The Future Eagles players and officials were received in Algiers by the officials of the Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as Nigeria embassy representative recently, National Daily learnt.
The team have their first training session on Tuesday and are camped at the Games Villages in Algiers.
A total of 71 athletes and officials in Judo, Rowing, Volleyball, Football and Gymnastics left Nigeria for Algers last Sunday July 15 aboard Turkish Airline for the 2018 African Youth Games which starts in Algiers .
The National Daily learnt that the Future Eagles are expected to emerge victorious having had the best preparation ahead of the championship.
The African Youth Games is an international multi sports event held every four years to complement the current All-African Games.
The first edition was hosted in the city of Rabat in Morocco in 2010. The second edition which was hosted four years later in 2014 by Botswana in the city of Gaborone.
The 2018 African Youth Games is hosted in Algiers while Madagascar won the hosting right for the 2022 African Youth Games.
