Umahi inaugurates commission of inquiry killing in Ebonyi
Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has inaugurated a nine-man Commission of Inquiry into the killings in the crises in Ekoli and Amoso Edda, Afikpo South Local Government.
The Special Assistant on media to Governor Umahi, Chooks Oko, in a statement on Wednesday, in Abakaliki, indicated that members of the commission include Sen. Sonni Ogbuoji, chairman; Nkama Nkama, Secretary; Mike Okoro, Etta Uka, Kalu Mba, John Igwe, Prof. Ibiam Ekpe, Ufere Okoroafor and Ama Kalu-Ikwor.
The Governor, during the inauguration, enjoined members of the commission, headed by Sen. Sonni Ogbuoji, to carry out their responsibilities devoid of any sentiments.
Ogbuoji assured that they would discharge their duties diligently and without fear or favour.
