USA wins Miss Universe pageant
Miss R’Bonney Gabriel of the United States of America has been crowned the new Miss Universe.
She beat Miss Venezuela to the coveted crown. The beauty pageant held in New Orleans, Louisiana, US. 84 women from across the world competed for the crown.
According to the organisers of the pageant, R’Bonney is an eco-friendly fashion designer, model, and sewing instructor with an excitement for life. She was the first Filipino-American to win the Miss USA pageant.
Nigeria was represented at the pageant by Hannah Iribhogbe.
