In an interview with TVC News, Atiku’s presidential campaign spokesman, Dr. Daniel Bwala, disclosed what Tinubu’s attempt to reconcile Shekarau and Ganduje when he was with Tinubu suggested to him.

Daniel Bwala disclosed this when he was responding to the question about the defection of Ibrahim Shekarau to PDP and the value it adds to PDP as a party.

Dr. Daniel Bwala began by saying that there are events which commence with the arrival of PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who from France flew directly to Kano to visit Senator Ibrahim Shekarau.

Dr. Bwala then revealed that he could remember when he was with Asiwaju, Asiwaju was making every effort to reconcile Shekarau and Ganduje, which never worked. He said Asiwaju’s effort to get Shekarau suggested to him that Shekarau is indeed very important.

Bwala noted that because of Shakarau’s importance and the importance of the role he plays in nation-building as a two-time governor as well as a former senator and former minister, and also for Atiku Abubakar to have flown from France directly to Kano to see him, it shows Shekarau’s importance and that his coming to the party is a very big plus.
