Ahead of the 2023 General Election, the Emergence of the Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello as the APC National Caretaker Committee Chairman could be a blessing to the Presidential Ambition of the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu, a Former Governor of Lagos State is currently the only All Progressives Congress (APC) from the South-West. Tinubu who has been soliciting for support of Stakeholders ahead of the forthcoming Presidential Primaries has visited top politicians and elder statesmen including President Muhammadu Buhari, General Ibrahim Babangida among others.

He has also consulted widely with Tranditional Rulers in the South-West. Already Tinubu has been endorsed for Presidency by some serving Governors including Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano State), Abubakar Sani Bello (Niger State) among others.
During his visit to Niger State in January, Tinubu held a meeting with Governor Abubakar Sani Bello who declared his Support for his 2023 Presidential Ambition. However, The recent emergence of Bello could favour Tinubu as his preferred Choice for the APC National Chairmanship Position, Senator Tanko Al-makura might emerge as the next APC National Chairman with the influence of the Acting APC National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Abubakar Sani Bello.
