Woman sentenced to life imprisonment for killing her 2 children
An Idaho-based woman in the U.S., Lori Vallow Daybell, 50, was on Monday, July 31, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murders of her two youngest children and a romantic rival in a case that included bizarre claims that her son and daughter were zombies and that she was a goddess sent to usher in the Biblical apocalypse, AP is reporting.
She was found guilty in May of killing her two youngest children, Joshua “JJ” Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 16, as well as conspiring to kill Tammy Daybell, her fifth husband’s ex-wife. Lori will serve three life sentences one after the other, the judge said.
According to reports, her husband, Chad Daybell, is awaiting trial on the same murder charges. Lori also faces two other cases in Arizona.
