Yahaya mourns Emir of Dutse
Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State 0n Wednesday mourned the late Emir of Dutse, Dr Nuhu Sunusi, describing him as a respected and resourceful royal father who contributed immensely to the development of the country.
Yahaya in a condolence message on Wednesday in Gombe by his media aide, Ismaila Uba-Misilli, said the emir’s death was a huge loss to Jigawa State, Dutse Emirate and Nigeria, as a whole.
He said added that the late emir was “always at the forefront in preaching and promoting unity and harmony among the people of his domain, Jigawa and the nation at large.”
He, therefore, consoled the bereaved royal family members, urging them to take solace in the fact that the late emir left behind legacies of honour, dignity and selfless service.
Yahaya also extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Badaru Abubakar, the State Council of Emirs and Chiefs and members of Dutse royal family.
“I pray Almighty Allah to grant the deceased monarch Al Jannatul Firdaus and comfort those he left behind.”
