Youth empowerment crucial to Wike’s administration

Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has emphasized that youth empowerment occupies an integral part of the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike in the State.
Dr. Banigo revealed this while speaking at the Graduation ceremony of students of Caywood Brown Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), in Port Harcourt.
Represented by the General Manger of Rivers State Television, Pastor Dafini Gogo-Abbey,
Dr. Banigo urged youths to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the State Government to acquire skills that would engender their growth economically.
She called on religious Organizations and Public spirited Individuals to partner with Government in ensuring that youths are properly guided to enable them achieve their full potentials in life.
The Deputy Governor who congratulated the Graduands for successfully completing their training urged them to be worthy Ambassadors of the Foundation by shunning all forms of criminal tendencies.
In her speech, the Senior Special Assistant (General) to the Deputy Governor, Barr. Inegogo Fubara, urged the Graduands to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the training to improve their living standard.
Earlier, the Chairman of Caywood Brown Foundation Mr. Onyebuchi Chukwuemeka said a total 83 students were trained in various skills, ranging from website designing, cinematography, printing, event planning and decoration to Electrical Engineering.

esponding on behalf of the Graduands, Mr. Chika Royal Eke thanked the Management of the Foundation for the opportunity offered them and promised that they would translate the skills acquired to affect their lives positively.
Highlight of the event was a presentation of an Award by the Students to the Deputy Governor for using the Foundation to impact positively on their lives.
