10 persons murdered by unknown gunmen in Enugu
At least 10 persons were reportedly killed in Agu-Amede community in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State by unknown gunmen on Monday.
It is reported that the daredevil criminals also wounded many, sacked villages, and burnt houses. It was gathered that the community had been witnessing invasion by these armed men leading to so many people being kidnapped with properties worth millions of Naira destroyed.
The latest attack, SaharaReporters gathered started on Saturday, when the gunmen invaded the Agu-Amede community and k#lled two persons and returned on Monday and killed another eight people who were returning from their farms, and in their houses.
In gory videos of the attack shared on social media, many of the deceased had their throats slit with multiple machete cuts in their heads A community leader, Augustine Odoh, who spoke to newsmen confirmed the attack.
