2019: Jonah Jang joins presidential race
Former Governor Jonah David Jang of Plateau State, on Tuesday, formally declared for the 2019 presidential race on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Jang, representing Plateau North in the National Assembly, at the PDP Secretariat in Jos, Plateau State, where he led his supporters to on Tuesday, announced his intent to contest the 2019 presidential election to provide good governance for Nigerians.
Jang, however, still has some scores to settle with the EFCC, and thus, has credibility burden to win the support of Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the former Plateau Governor joins former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, and others in the race for the PDP 2019 presidential ticket.
