24-yr-old pregnant lady brutalizes her 7yrs old nephew for failing to recite the English alphabet

A 24-year-old pregnant lady, Mrs Abigail Eguta has been apprehended for allegedly brutalising her seven-year-old nephew for failing to recite the English alphabet in Anambra State.

The nursing mom was apprehended after concerned neighbors took the victim, identified as Sunday, to the office of the state women & social welfare commissioner, Ify Obinabo on May 16th.

Sunday is said to be the son of Mrs. Eguta’s biological sister who she brought him to live with her barely a year ago.

According to the report, the boy whose body is dotted with scars of previous injuries inflicted on him by his guardian had been out of school for a long time.

Mrs. Eguta claimed she beat the boy for eating the fish she bought for Sunday meal. She also confessed to beating him on Monday for not reciting the English alphabet correctly, adding that it was the main reason she wounded him.
