33-yr-old father gets governor’s attention with innovative job-hunting
A jobless 33 year-old father just adopted a most innovative to seek a government job at the office of Osun Gov Gboyega Oyetola.
Apart from listing his earned and expected qualifications, Oyebowale Oladapo stated in his resume that stood as tall as he the objective of seeking the government job.
“To be useful rather than decoration (sic) at all level (sic) in your organisation. Skillful and intelligent,” the graduate of education, second-class upper, said in a life-size portrait trending on Instagram.
He, however, didn’t state the post he coveted in Oyetola’s office. The applicant had no work experience either.
Nigeria’s unemployment rate stands at around 33 percent in a population swelling with under-15 youth.
Oyetola launched a Public Workfare and Special Grant Transfer programmes under the Youth Employment and Social Support Operation (YESSO) in 2019.
The programme, the governor boasted, has taken over 10,000 vulnerable youths away from roaming the street and are participating in productive service and earning monthly stipends.
