Aisha Al-Hassan ‘Mama Taraba’, APC gov candidate dies at 61
A former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State, Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan, widely known as “Mama Taraba’ has died at the age of 61 years. The former Minister of Women Affairs died in Cairo, Egypt, on Friday.
Al-Hassan had resigned her ministerial appointment in 2015 to contest the governorship election on the platform of the APC against Governor Darius Ishaku.
