First time Tinubu opens up on ‘gruesome’ therapy he’s undergoing
For the first time in three months, Nigerians can now hear what’s grounding APC national leader Bola Tinubu—from the horse’s mouth.
He spoke when a retinue of House of Reps members from the northwest, northeast, and north-central visited him in London October 1.
“Because of God and people like you, I am well,’ he told the crowd.
“It is just the physio (physiotherapy) that is gruesome.”
From a downer to debilitating illness and then a knee surgery, the media has been awash with news of why the former governor is stuck in London.
The wild speculation and denials are not unconnected with his perceived ambition to contest the 2023 presidential election.
Many of the governors in southwest and allies across other regions, including President Muhammadu Buhari, have flown abroad to wish him quick recovery.
