#EndSARS Anniversary: FG holds press conference in Abuja, appeals to youth
The Federal Government has held a press conference in Abuja on the one year #EndSARS anniversary taking place across the country on Wednesday. The government at the briefing, insisted that security operatives did not shoot at any protester at the Lekki Toll Gate during the #EndSARS protest in 2020. The government argued that one year after, “no single family of the victims of the massacre has come up with claims.”
The Federal Government, thereafter, renewed its demand for an apology from CNN for painting Nigeria in a bad light to the rest of the world.
The federal government, however, appealed to the #EndSARS protesters across the country to pause and device other measures that would not be hijacked by hoodlums in expressing their grieves.
