If your skin is dark, you’re at disadvantage – Nigerians groan in Ukraine

Ukrainian officials have taken racism against blacks to the extreme in prohibiting Nigerians and nationals of other African countries from leaving war ravaged Ukraine. A Nigerian medical student in Ukraine, Jessica Orakpo, narrated how Ukrainian authorities traumatize blacks resident in their country, frustrating them from quitting Ukraine badly hit by war over Russian invasion.

Orakpo narrated that the Ukrainian officials give priority to their citizens in the protocols to exit the country to Poland for safety. Blacks are also being forced to trek over 16 hours to the borders, where again, the officials apply further discrimination to frustrate blacks from leaving the country, especially, through the border with Poland.

The victims of the Ukrainian racist regime had to run back to their initial locations to start fresh exit plans, changing direction to Hungary at exorbitant costs.

The racist Ukraine denies blacks the use of cars, train, among others, ordering the blacks to walk to the borders.

Jessica Orakpo, residing in the western city of Ternopil, narrated her traumatic experience, adding that she even had to lie that she is pregnant just to get sympathy and be allowed to escape but the racist Ukrainian officials insist she must walk, being told the border is not far from her location along the road.

The cars could not move because of the gridlock on the overcrowded road to the borders.

Jessica Orakpo, “They said black people should walk; They gave priority to Ukrainians; it was a traumatic experience.

I had to spend much before I could get to Hungary. I don’t know what next. I am struggling to get ticket to come back to Nigeria.”

Other African students from Ghana were also frustrated from exit from the war country by the racist Ukrainian officials. Many had to return to their residents and consider making more efforts the next the day.

Meanwhile, Russian forces have issued air strike warning to residents of Kyiv, urging them to vacate the city.

The world appears to be restrained from direct military intervention in the Russian invasion of the racist Ukraine because of the fear of nuclear war as Russian President Putin placed “deterrence nuclear force on high alert”. The racist Ukraine has continued to be pounded by the Russian forces.
