Reactions as the acting Accountant General, Nwabuoku appears under probe by the EFCC
The newly appointed acting Accountant General of the federation, Anamekwe Nwabuoku is allegedly under a probe by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
As you can recall, Ahmed Idris, the Former Accountant General of the federation was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged N80 billion fraud. He is currently at the EFCC custody undergoing investigations.
Following his arrest, the Federal Government appointed Mr. Anamekwe Nwabuoku as the acting Accountant General of the federation.
Few days after his appointment, reports came that Mr. Anamekwe Nwabuoku had corruption allegations against him.
It was gathered that Mr. Nwabuoku is currently being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
