2023: Tinubu woos ex-President Goodluck Jonathan
Ahead of the 2023 general election, Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu on Tuesday paid a courtesy call to former President Goodluck Jonathan to solicit for his support.
Recall that Tinubu had earlier visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo in his Abeokuta residence earlier in the month as part of his ongoing consultations.
Tinubu had also visited Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike in London where both men met behind closed doors.
It was gathered that the APC candidate and Jonathan were in a closed-door meeting where they spoke on issues majorly around the presidential election next year.
Tinubu said his visit to Jonathan was for consultation in his capacity as a former President in the country and an elder statesman.
