Millions vote for return of Trump to Twitter
The new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, has set up a poll to ask users of the platform whether former president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, should be reinstated on the app or not.
Trump had been de-platformed in the aftermath of the invasion of the US Capitol by some citizens, who Trump called “Patriots”.
In the poll on Saturday, Musk asked, “Reinstate former president Trump” with only yes and no option available.
Over 13 million users have participated in the poll with 52 per cent of them voting for the reinstatement of the former US president.
This poll also comes days after Trump announced his plan to run for the presidency in 2024.
