Two boys arrested for gang-raping a 15-yr-old hearing-impaired girl
Police operatives in Nasarawa State have arrested two suspects, identified as Aminu Hashimu, 24, and Lukman Dogara, 18, for allegedly gang-raping a 15-year-old hearing-impaired girl in Obi LGA of the state.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Ramhan Nansel, in a statement on Friday, March 10, said the suspects were arrested on March 3, following a complaint lodged at Obi division.
The said the suspects were arrested at different locations in Obi town and Lafia, respectively.
According to him, “Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects lured the victim who had hearing impairment to their residence at Okpe Street, Obi, and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.
The suspects have confessed to the commission of the crime.”
