ASUU UniAbuja begins indefinite strike
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), UniAbuja chapter has commenced an indefinite strike to address various concerns within the union.
The decision to embark on the strike was announced on Thursday at the end of the chapter’s congress, which took place at the Permanent Site of the institution.

Sylvanus Ugoh, who is the UniAbuja Chairman of the union, told Leadership that the union had resolved to embark on a total and indefinite strike with immediate effect.
The UniAbuja ASUU union announced its decision to embark on the strike on Thursday at the end of its congress, held at the Permanent Site of the institution.
Members of the UniAbuja ASUU have been at loggerheads with the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrasheed Na’allah and the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman over the processes for the appointment of a new VC.
