Ogbene’s arrival marks Ipswich’s tenth signing since their return to the Premier League.
The Tractor Boys were seeking a forward to replace Wes Burns, who suffered a hamstring injury in their opening-day defeat to Liverpool.
“I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to play in the Premier League again,” Ogbene told Ipswich Town FC’s website.
“The manager’s belief in me and his vision for my role in the team mean a lot to me and my family.”

Ogbene has previously played for clubs such as Cork, Limerick, Brentford, and Rotherham.
He joined Luton last year on a free transfer and impressed during their Premier League campaign.
Ipswich remains in talks with Chelsea for striker Armando Broja before the transfer deadline.
Manager Kieran McKenna confirmed ongoing discussions with Chelsea but did not provide further details.
