There emerging indicators of turmoil in Abuja, FCT, as police teargas protesters in the territory.
Several citizens had trooped out in the early hours of Tuesday for the October 1 protest, but the police in the efforts to contain the protests, intervened with teargas canister to disperse protesters at Utako market arena, forcing protesters to scamper for their lives, and degenerating turmoil in Abuja.

The FCT protesters took to the streets chanting “We are hungry;”.
Meanwhile, the protests in Lagos was guarded by the State Police Command, and they went peacefully.
