Kiwanis Club commemorates yuletide donates food items to orphanage home
A global organization of volunteers the Kiwanis Club Lagos Central a branch of KIWANIS International, has taken its humanitarian service to Friends of Jesus orphanage located in Badore Community area of Ajah, Lagos.
The initiative was informed by the club’s dedication to improving the world one child and one community at a time ideology.
President of Kiwanis Club Lagos Central Barr. Sharon Orekyeh, in a chat with newsmen at the orphanage home noted that the initiative was informed by the spirit of love that characterise the yuletide season, which is all about sharing gifts and making people happy.

“The visit is timely because this is the season of giving and sharing of joy with loved ones and family.
“Children in the home should also partake and feel the love and cheer.
“She urged the kids to always do good always no matter what the situation is because things can and will only get better.” Barr. Orekyeh said
Food items like, bag of rice, tubers of yam, carbonated drinks, packs of spaghetti and indomie noodles to name a few was donated to the home by Kiwanis Club Lagos Central.
According to Barr. Sharon Orekyeh, the courtesy visit is an opportunity to bring joy and cheer to the kids in the home during the yuletide season.
