Teddy A backs dual-income marriage, stresses submission
Nigerian actor and reality TV personality Teddy A has shared his views on marriage, stating that he supports women pursuing careers and contributing financially in relationships.
Speaking during a recent roundtable discussion on Echo Room, the former Big Brother Naija housemate said he prefers a dual-income marriage and does not want a stay-at-home wife.

According to him, couples should work together to build wealth and enjoy the rewards of their labour later in life.
“The way I see a woman, I love to support a woman. I have no problem having a high-value woman; I do not want a stay-at-home wife,” he said.
Teddy A added that while he supports ambitious women, he also believes submission remains an important part of marriage.
“I hate that s**t, we both have got to get it so when we get older, we can enjoy what we have worked on together. But the point where you miss it is when you are not submissive,” he stated.
His comments have since sparked conversations online about gender roles, financial partnership, and submission in modern marriages.
