Yul Edochie advises men against forgiving cheating partners
Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has shared his views on infidelity in relationships and marriages, urging men not to forgive women who cheat on them.
In a post shared on his X handle, the actor advised men to walk away immediately after discovering their partner’s infidelity, warning against negotiation or reconciliation.

According to him, staying in such a relationship could make a man appear weak in the eyes of his partner.
“Once you find out your wife is cheating on you, leave her immediately. Men, stop tolerating nonsense in the name of marriage,” he wrote.
Yul further cautioned men against discussing the issue with either their spouse or the alleged third party involved, insisting that moving on quickly is the best decision.
“Don’t negotiate anything with her. Don’t condone. Don’t discuss with her boyfriend. Let her go quickly. And move on,” he added.
The actor also claimed that men who forgive unfaithful partners may later regret the decision.
“If you forgive her and continue, you have confirmed to her that you’re a weak man. Danger looms for you. That decision will come back to haunt you later. Women deal mercilessly with weak men,” he stated.
His comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with social media users debating relationships, forgiveness, and gender expectations in marriage.
