Abdulwahid Islamic Foundation poise to host 15th annual Ramadan lecture series
The Abdulwahid Islamic Foundation a faith based organization has indicated poise to hold a three-pronged event in commemoration of the 15th edition of it Annual Ramadan Lecture Series and Special Prayers for the Nation.
In a statement jointly issued by the President of the foundation Engr. Ishaq Alabi and the Secretary Hon. Razaq Aderibigbe,the yearly gathering which is scheduled to hold on March 24th, 2024, at the prestigious Tabjol Event Centre, located on Agboyi Road, Alapere-Ketu, Lagos state,theme:Dealing With Difficult Times.
The statement read in part:“This year’s programme promises to offer valuable insights and spiritual guidance to attendees as we navigate the challenges of contemporary society. It provides a timely opportunity for our community to come together, gain wisdom from esteemed scholars, and strengthen our resolve in the face of adversity.
“The distinguished As-Sheikh AbdulFatai Muh’d Raji has graciously accepted our invitation to serve as the Guest Speaker for this significant occasion. With his profound knowledge and wisdom, he is sure to inspire and enlighten all who attend.”
In the symbolism of the Ramadan season aside the lecture and prayer for the nation, the foundation also made provision for healthy living and well being of the faithful as special health talk on combating Antibiotics resistance, is on the line up.
“Furthermore, the Abdulwahid Islamic Foundation will be empowering prayer groups (Alasalatu) financially, facilitating cooperative soft-loan systems to address the pressing needs of our community members during these challenging times.
“The event will be chaired by the esteemed Honorable Yacoob Ekundayo Bush-Alebiosu, the Commissioner For Waterfront Infrastructure Development, alongside the Otunba Fuwagbuyi of Ijebu Land, adding prestige and honor to our gathering.
“Dignitaries expected at the event includes: Barrister Sharaphardeen Idowu , Managing Partner, Braintree Solicitors, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, the Executive Chairman Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mr. Olalekan Mutiu, the MD, Bratetek Nig. Ltd, Alhaji Nurudeen Abimbola, Hon. Engr. Moshood Olalekan Seriki, Asst Director, Planning Research and Statistics.Lagos state public works cooperation (LSPWC).
