Achievers University student, four others contract lassa fever
A student of Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State has been infected with Lassa Fever.
The student, whose name has been withheld by the school’s authorities, is said to have been sent to hospital and will be discharged once treatment is completed.
Prof. Tunji Ibiyemi, the Vice Chancellor, has said the school has proceeded on a three-week break after which each student must present a certificate of wellness from a government hospital before being allowed entry into the school.
