Ahead of July 12 poll Owolabi reaffirms plan to uplift Apapa LGA
Former Apapa local government area chairman Hon. Adele Elijah Owolabi has restated commitment, to take the developmental strides recorded during his previous tenure in the counci’s administration to an advance stage if allowed to stage a comeback to governance in the July 12 election.
Owolabi made this disclosure in a recent chat with newsmen in Lagos, he stressed his unmatched qualitative governance acumen at the grassroots level, as one clear edge that sets him apart amid other contenders for the job.
“I have done quite a lot while in charge of the council in the past and the legacies are everywhere in Apapa local government till date, in the area of education, transportation,youth and women empowerment, health,infrastructure name it.
“The facts speaks for itself, if you go there and check the impact of my administration can still be felt and that is why I am taking this bold step, owing to the yearnings of many of our people who are beckoning on me to stage a comeback.”

Owolabi however, reiterates the fact that Apapa is a cosmopolitan council with lots of potential.
“Apapa local Government is a microcosm of Nigeria, a council blessed with all the required features of greatness which if well handled the attainable heights are quite huge.
“To the glory of God I have what it takes to take governance at this most important unit of the society-grassroots to an enviable height, as my past dealings in Apapa bears me the needed testimonies.
“I am quite confident that once the people support me to return, goodness will resonate every nook and cranny of Apapa and we shall be a cynosure of all eyes, given our natural aquatic boundaries there are no limits to the possible advancements that will be recorded in no distance future.” Owolabi said.
